M2TM Scores

M2TM Scores is a ground-breaking MIDI tool for Ableton Live 12 Suite Edition that lets you convert notes in Live's clips into a music score, to print it and save it to a PDF file, play it at your selected BPM, and more. You can print scores directly from inside your favorite DAW, at last!

M2TM Scores supports multi-clef scores (e.g. treble+bass scores), transposing instruments (e.g. sax or trumpet), irregular note groups (triplets, quintuplets, and septuplets), accented notes, staccato and legato styles, and even orchestral scores that combine notes from different Live clips.

M2TM Scores can work in several modes, depending on the type of score you want to generate.

Automatic mode - in most cases, you just need to select the notes to print and click the GO! button. By setting notes' velocity and release velocity attributes, you can decorate notes with accents, staccato, and legato (slur) symbols. You can also assign the score's title, instrument name, and bar numbers.

Manual mode - switch to manual mode for full control on which notes must be displayed in each clef, or to create orchestral scores that combine notes from multiple clips (see figure above)

Expert mode - M2TM Scores displays a text editor that allows you to add lyrics and chord symbols, and to precisely define character fonts and size, beam direction, bar dividers' style, page margins, etc. In expert mode, you can even merge two or more clefs into a multi-voice clef.
